Board & Train
4 weeks $4,600
Training a dog requires 100% commitment, management, and accountability. It takes lots of time and is hard to fit into a busy schedule. If you need to ramp up your dog’s training but your daily schedule is already packed, a board & train might be right for you.
Why is a Magnus K9 Board & Train so successful?
- B&T’s are scheduled during months where consultations are kept at a minimum to ensure the right amount of time is allocated to each dog. For the same reason, there is a strict 3 dog maximum each month for B&T’s.
- Standard board & train is 4 weeks long and the dog is kept at Magnus HQ
What a typical day looks like for Board & Trains:
- Each meal is an organized training session for your dog. Morning, afternoon, and evening the dog will have a customized training session specific to the goals outlined in the initial consultation.
- Rain, snow, or shine, each dog gets a long outing to practice obedience in the real world. Some of these places may include Home Depot, the OUTSIDE fence area of a dog park, nearby parks and playgrounds, and lots of other safe places for your dog to contextualize that commands like “here” mean that no matter where and no matter the distraction, the dog MUST obey.
- Stable and non-reactive dogs will be invited into the home of Magnus’s owner to practice their training in a real home environment.
- There is designated time for play and exercise, whether your dog likes fetch, tug, or chase. -All dogs are trained to run on the Dog Pacer treadmill at the facility.
